Directions

Ravenscroft is situated between the village of Windermere in the English lake district and lake Windermere. It is a ten minute walk to either village.

From M6, From The North or South
Leave the M6 at Junction 36 to join the A590 to Kendal
Join the A591 (Kendal bypass) to Windermere

From Windermere Village
On the A591 (from Kendal) turn left down into the village
Follow the one way system through Windermere
Exit Windermere village taking the New Road towards Bowness and the lake

Direction to the Ravenscroft Guest House

Travelling down the hill the road flattens out into a long right-hand bend, with park, railings and clock tower on your left.
Turn immediately left (hair-pin) around the clock tower and stop. Ravenscroft Bed & Breakfast is directly on your right.

Windermere and the surrounding Lake District is a very popular tourist destination with visitors coming from all over the world. As such it has excellent travel connections with a regular train service to the West Coast mainline, and a regular, direct connection to Manchester airport.
